1. WHO IS ELIGIBLE

To register for Databricks’s Spark + AI Summit 2020 Hackathon ("Contest"), participants must be at least 18, be located where the Contest is allowed by law and must follow the entry requirements in the "How to Enter" Section below. Your participation in the Contest constitutes your agreement to be bound by these official rules (“Official Rules"). Void where prohibited by law. Employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of Databricks, Inc. ("Databricks") its affiliates and subsidiaries, and their immediate family and household members, are not eligible to enter or to win, however they may participate on teams as Advisors. Employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of the United States federal government, and their immediate family and household members, are not eligible to enter or to win. Contest entrants are referred to as "you" or "participant".

False and/or deceptive entries or acts shall render participants ineligible.

Projects Rules: New projects only. No pre-existing projects will be accepted. Submissions must be original work of you and your team. Projects must be posted as a public Github repository and tagged with SparkAISummit. Team Size Maximum: Team sizes must be between 1-4 participants. If you have more people that want to be in your team, that’s great! Unfortunately, it’s probably best if you split into two projects. (you can still work side-by-side and help each other!)

3. DETERMINATION OF WINNER(S)
